Rush-Copley Emergency Center Now Open
The new Rush-Copley Emergency Center — Yorkville is now open. The facility is the first center of its kind in Kendall County.
Childhood Obesity
Childhood obesity has immediate and long-term effects on the health and wellness of children. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, obese kids are more likely to have risk factors for cardiovascular disease including high cholesterol or high blood pressure, have pre-diabetes, and are at greater risk for bone and joint problems, sleep apnea, and social and psychological problems such as stigmatization and poor self-esteem.
